I was approached by an old hockey teammate in the spring to capture one of his favourite places, the lake. This was one of my favourite assignments as I was able to drive up and down the grid roads of rural Saskatchewan to capture some of their family's most cherished spots of their youth. These photos were to be a gift to his wife to have in their home in Regina, and remind them of their cabin at Crooked Lake during the cold winter months.
